Section 4: Publishing and Life After
After all that work, the book has finally come to the last stage. It is time for it to be published for everyone to be able to read. To keep track of all the sales, authors regularly receive correspondence on royalty statements about sales to ensure they are kept up to date. Eventually, sales slowly dip till barely anyone is buying the book and then eventually the book is remaindered, all the remaining copies are either sold to the author at a discount or to the public. However, at times a book can be hugely popular and have many different editions and reprints and can live on for quite some time as in the case of the 'Puffin Timestable Book'.
