'Solving Problems 4' Teacher's Book Manuscript.

After the final contract and agreements have been signed, then the work of redrafting the manuscript and creating something different begins. This process involves correspondence between an editor from the publishing house and the author to agree changes and corrections. Their goal is to create a successful product that will sell well for the benefit of readers and for the author. Since they generally know their readers well it is a good idea for authors to listen to editors and their team to create the best book they can.

Within the Rose Griffiths Archive this can be seen through the various correspondence and some of the manuscripts which have been edited. The manuscripts and other samples presented here elaborate more on the process. The notes below show some of the  areas that authors and editors focused on when it comes to editing, such as the position of text bubbles.
