Sir Malcolm Sargent

Nicknamed "Flash Harry", Sir Malcolm Sargent was an English conductor, organist and composer widely regarded as Britain's leading conductor of choral works. A little known fact is that in 1921 he was appointed the first head of the Music Department at Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland College. So that they may have life volunteer Sam Dobson has been researching his story.
