By 1903, their daughter Agnes Mabel Fielding Johnson (1864 – 1942), married to William Wallace Bruce (1846 – 1907) in 1885 at the Unitarian Chapel in East Bond Street, Leicester, had six children (one having sadly died in infancy).
The Bruce family lived in London, but a delightful family photo album depicts the many joyful highlights of holiday times at ‘Brookfield’, with its working farm and a brook running through its grounds. Also, Agnes Mabel took up many of her mother’s causes in Leicester.
