To have Ian I went to Westcotes I think, didn’t like it I have to say. I was left in labour for twenty four hours and being told off because I wanted help. I got told off if I rang the bell. I had a long time and they fetched the doctor and it was alright but I would’ve lost Ian if they hadn’t of fetched the doctor so I wasn’t very pleased. That was National Health in 1958 so I don’t know if that was just the nursing home but I wouldn’t go there again. I said’ I’m not going in there again’ and had my daughter born here at home which was much better.
