A profile of a local and short-lived Leicester-based black power group known as the Black People's Liberation Army. The group's headquarters were on Laurel Road in the Highfields area of the city, and their primary objectives were to end police brutality against the black community and empower in the same vein as popular militant black power groups in the United States were doing at the time.
