William Wallace Bruce (1846 – 1907)
One of their daughters was Rosalind Bruce:
‘After the death of his first wife, Leonard Huxley married Rosalind Bruce, and had two further sons. The elder of these was David Bruce Huxley (1915 – 1992), whose daughter Angela married George Pember Darwin, son of the physicist Charles Galton Darwin [a grandson of Charles Darwin]. The younger was the 1963 Nobel Prize-winning physiologist Andrew Huxley (1917–2012)’
