This section of the exhibition discusses two case studies of women who donated money to the University. These women have fascinating stories of their life in Leicester during the early 1900's. Annie Clephan and Dr. Elizabeth Wilks were prominent female figures (they were both known Suffragettes) so during this time they were struggling to fight for their equal rights.
